I write in a narrative tone. It makes me feel like I'm actually telling the story. Also, I prefer active voice over passive. " " are my friends.

I hate blowing my own trumpet, but once in a while it's okay to acknowledge one's strengths I guess. What I like about my writing is the style. I try to show not tell. Several writers have emphasized on the importance of showing over telling. I understood the importance of it when I read Stephen King's memoir On Writing. If you haven't read it yet, you should. It has some valuable advice for novice writers.

I wish I could understand the language. I Googled a little and found out that Kannada is an Indian language. I thought Indians spoke Hindi - have a couple of Indian friends who do.
