By the way, Jesus can't tagteam. It's JUST Jesus vs. Zeus. Not Jesus and his followers or Jesus and the Abrahamic God. Just Jesus, which means he can heal himself with a touch, walk on water, turn water in wine (or the other way around), or come back from the dead.

So with all that in mind I am going to amend my decision. If Jesus can come back to life on a whim, then that means Zeus can never actually kill him, so I propose that Zeus would eventually just die of exhaustion after having to fight Jesus over and over and over and over and chase him over water and stop Jesus from turning his water into wine, etc.

Edit: I plan to have more of these silly debates later, so nobody make other threads. If you want to see a godly throw down, then let me know. I think this could be a public tournament or some craziness.

Zeus would win.

Why?

He's the king of gods.
Is Jesus a god?
No.

Thats why.

Jesus is part of the HOLY Trinity. He is the son of God. Ai caramba.

Exactly.
SON of God.
Not A God.
The son of a musician is not always a musician.
The son of a welder is not always a welder.
And in this case, Jesus is not a god.

Case closed.

Yes, but he's not a man on Earth now is he?

He's in heaven being God/Spirit, whatever.

And if he's part of God, in a different form, and in heaven, then he'll still have the powers that God has etc.

First off, if you're asking for respect then the least you can do is respect atheism. Practice what you preach.

Second, saying Jesus isn't God isn't atheism, you said so yourself that he is no God.

Jesus didn't have the powers God did, he isn't part of God, God is a part of him. And based on almost all religions God put a part of himself in all humans. Are all humans that go to Heaven, God? No.

Ahaha. Imelda and Nyx...are you sure you wanna match Bible skills with a Bible thumper like me. Your guesses are as wrong as heck, and since I did find out that college will be a few months from now, I guess I will have a bit of time to spend on YWO. Just not as much as before. Anyways...

Jesus is God incarnate in flesh. I could point out several passages all over the Bible in which Jesus literally equates his very being to God the Father, and the Pharisees, got ticked at that. Jesus even told the Pharisees straight up that he was they very Word of God, and a being equal to his father. The only reason why he established that Separation from God was a) to set an example of obedience and b) that was part of the whole 'sacrificing himself' ordeal. There are a lot of paradoxes concerning God, and Jesus with the Trinity being a three in one at the same time, is one of them.

Jesus would win because Zeus was prophesied by Prometheus that he would meet with a fat worse than Kronos, believed by some to be death.
Jesus would also win because the Trinity Paradox would still be in effect. There is no 'just Jesus as a man'. Fighting with him included fighting with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
Zeus, like all the other immortals, need ambrosia to stay immortal. Without it, he's a goner. Jesus, on the other hand, has total immortality.
Jesus is a being beyond all imagining, without a beginning, without any limits, with power beyond any imagining (and believe me, I myself can imagine quite a bit), beyond infinity. Zeus cannot even undo what Hera, his wife, could do.
Jesus has been at full power from infinity past. Zeus actually HAD to be born and nurtured. Jesus could simply travel back in time in kill Zeus as a baby.

Yeah, there's no contest here.

*By the way, the 'wine' you guys are talking about was actually translated from the hebrew equivalent of 'grape juice', as in the non-alcoholic stuff they used to mix into their not-so-clean water back in the days.'

Yup.

You do realize that makes me imagine you in a superhero suit [cape and all], with big writing in the front: Bibel Thumper whilst you thump a bible on my head and Imelda's.
No offence is meant, just saying what your phrasing made me imagine. I think thumper was a bad word choice.

Jesus is God incarnate in flesh.
I don't want this to be another super long religious debate since I'm fasting and have a major headache so I'll just say I don't agree with that. [I know, my debating skills are sooo strong]

Haha, Raf just pwned all your asses. I still stand by what I said: we should talk about more kick-ass Gods than Zeus and Jesus.
