Philip Palmer is hosting a writing workshop in the UK entitled "To Boldly Go: Writing Science Fiction" on the 9th of July. He is the author of Debatable Space, Red Claw, and Version 43 from Orbit.

Here are the details:
Successful Sci Fi author Philip Palmer wrote his first Sci Fi novel after visiting the Science Museum and standing under a real rocket that once flew in space. Philip will now lead a group of willing participants in the weird ambience of the MacRae Gallery at the Hunterian Museum to discover their own 'starts' of stories. From skeletal robots to climate change and its consequences, Philip will help participants touch and connect science into their own stories. This workshop is open to writers of all levels, those new to writing Sci Fi are especially welcome.
