Hello, there!

If you couldn't tell by my username, my name is Bailey. I just joined this site because I had a few unanswered questions and maybe someone can help me out with it.

I turn 18 in October, and I've been wanting to write about my struggles. My struggling to believe in Christianity while my family is heavily religious, having to deal with being hard of hearing and wearing hearing aids, my depression, how sick I was as a baby, having both a great stepmom and a not-so-good stepmom, how my relationship with my grandmother changed. Things like that. How I got through elementary school, middle school, and then high school alive as a teen in America.

If I were to do that, would it be considered a memoir or an autobiography? The thing that gets me, however, is that a memoir is centered around one aspect of your life and everything I listed is more than one. Writing an autobiography doesn't make much sense when you're a 17-year-old.

If someone could help me out here, I'd appreciate it.
