I think I like reading better because well it's always there with tons of different options to help me with any emotion or when I'm just bored. But writing takes time and effort and helps me with some emotions but not all. Reading is much easier too for one thing, I mean the author has already done the work, all I have to do is curl up on the couch and get lost in the book.

I like them about the same. While reading is a fun way to fight boredom and a good way to procrastinate

I like them both because I can be into one and not the other at different times. Plus, writing your own stories is awesome, and reader other stories is great too

Well... really it is like those nasty things in Geometry.
You can read without writing. But, you cannot write without reading. What are they called? Postulates and converses and all those... With writing, reading is a must. I like both. A lot. I learn so much from analyzing other writers, but at the same time I have to actually write to learn how to do what they do, and in my own way. I really don't think I could live with just one.

Reading is awesome because you don't have to do anything, but writing is just as awesome because it's much more rewarding in the long run.
So: Both.

I like reading, cause it's fun, and exactly what....Nyx I think said, all you have to do is curl up on a couch and read it. But I like writing to because it's so free and you can do anything you want to. I think I prefer poetry to prose though when it comes to writing.

I like them both because neither can exist in me without the other, basically. If I hadn't started reading properly, I wouldn't have began writing. If I hadn't begun writing, then I'd have had no inclination to read properly (all those years ago).

[QUOTE=Ichigo;4052]But I like writing to because it's so free and you can do anything you want to.QUOTE]
Yup, when writing, whatever I say, goes. I like that. I like writing because of loads of reasons. But reading is better sometimes (for me), when I want to relax. I only read comedy when I want to chill out because reading any other genre of books will only make me think about it, evaluate certain chapters, daydream and if it's really good, go crazy over it. Which is why I'm scared of reading those fantasy novels... T_T I might get addicted. Okay, my point is, I love reading comedy, but I can't write comedy, so I like both, because a) reading relaxes me and b) writing... (see top of post) Cheers. ![]() |

I love to do four things:
Write Draw Read Cooking up fight scenes That way, if even three of them fails to amuse me, I've got one more to keep me busy - that is, if I'm not doing schoolwork or running errands...
