I'm doing this, but due to IST, it turns out I have less time than the others.

Let's do this like a black man.

I mean, lets do this fast.

I have a poem that could go great with this, but it's on a different writing site. Can I use it?

I think we've allowed that before. We'd rather have new poems, but yes, if you've got something else go for it. Love to see new people signing up!

The results will be posted in this thread (typically found on the first/main post of the thread, but we will bump it to let you know). The results should be up pretty soon, I believe we're just waiting on one of the judge's feedback.

As far as critiques on the individual pieces, I'm not sure when those will be completed. To my knowledge, we are splitting up the critiques, so it partially depends on the judge who is critiquing your piece. We want to give you feedback in a reasonable time, but we also want it to be valuable.

Thanks for your patience, and keep checking for updates on this thread!

Winner y'all. Though the fact that there were only 3 entries makes me sad, and I think the poem in second place was a better poem, but thanksalot guys <3

It only worked because I bribed Isis with chocolates though.

Lalo might have her own definition and explanation, but here's what I'm looking for. I'm looking for poems that feel like a certain color without having to say the name of that color. For example, if you wrote a poem about rain in November, the ocean during a storm, about roads and skyscrapers, about the subway, then I might get the feeling of "gray" from that poem without you having to describe anything in it as gray. Or if the poem was set in the forest with everything moving at your feet and the March smell of rot turning into something colder and fresher in April I might imagine "green" from your poem.

You can send your entry to either me, lalodragon, or mfarr1992. Or you can do one better and send it to all of us at once by entering all of our usernames in the "Recipient Username" field in the window for writing a new PM. Separate the usernames by semicolons, like this: Isis; lalodragon; mfarr1992
