Homework is an added responsibility and it helps students become more responsible at an early age. It also helps them master their or become more oriented with their topics at school so it's necessary for it to still exist I guess...

Honestly, even if I do understand the topic in school, homework has helped me remember and/or strengthen my knowledge of the topic. And if I get through some especially hard tasks, it most definitely teaches me something new that I didn't pick up in class. So I do support homework, but I do believe there should be a reform of it. Possibly give it out in organized and smaller increments. But in all, I do want homework to take less time and reduce stress.

who says one has to study 7 hours after school just to revise the chapters? Homework should be given because it helps us to revise the chapter in an effective manner.It also nourishes our brain and can come to help in future as for example,science.It is interesting yet is very essential for us to get jobs,

This is true if homework was meant only to educate, whereas it was meant to prepare students for the large workload that would be put upon workers in any job, especially an office job.
