I used to do a radio show back in college and looking back on that I may revive it through a podcast. But in thinking about that, I was also wondering about the possibilities of a YWO podcast. It would not only help gain awareness of the forum but also just talk about what it's like as a young writer. We could do different segments per show or just one whole topic per show - whatever works. We could have several hosts instead of just one - so if one person can't do it a certain day then someone else could take over. But even so - there's a lot of flexibility because in reality we can just record a Skype conference amongst the hosts and guests at any convenient time and throw it out there whenever.

I don't see why we couldn't do that. The big hurdle remains that we need a regular editor for the website, which I haven't acquired yet (partly because I'm busy as hell with this stupid PhD).

That said, I know a bit about podcasting, so setting it up should be easy.

What do others think?

I'd be interested as a part-time contributor, but I am and will be much too busy for anything frequent. Hell, I'm too busy to even maintain a consistent presence on the site as of late.

I literally have all the time in the world, so I could be a regular. I plan on getting a real legit microphone for recording when my next paycheck comes in.

I would love to see a YWO podcast! I would love to participate as well, but in the future. I don't have Skype or the tools needed for a podcast

I would be interested in this. I don't have that much time though so I couldn't be a regular.

I would loooove to be involved in something like this. I had this sort of idea and did a lot of planning for it about a year and a half ago but it never went anywhere, so I'd definitely be up for contributing.

I still have to buy a new mic. Saved up for NYC Comic Con this weekend. But I hope by Christmas I'd have one.
